Nature Breathes

Hidden by the Grass, Still Pond, Waiting

Hidden by the Grass

As the sun sets,

A quiet evening observing

People fishing

By a small lake.

Poles flick backward then extend,

Lines sink into liquid.

Waiting, noticing,

Movements within the deep.

Father and Son - Fishing Lesson

Father and Son – Fishing Lesson

Muffled voices, heron cries, oars slapping water –

The only sounds heard across

The surface of the lake.

Floating on Water

Floating on Water

Noise feels like an insult

In this pristine setting.

Nature breathes.

We enter her domain

That asks no questions

Only IS.

Taking time to breathe in and with nature, the deep interconnection taking us into a closer relationship with the sacred. Thank you for beautiful words and pictures to take us there…

Loving the essence of this – observing – experiencing – sharing –
